Are risks related to processes?

Four types of processes induce specific risks of contamination for personnel: Gaseous Phase, Vapor Deposition, colloidal synthesis and mechanical attrition.

Wet process.

The method is unlikely to cause dispersion of nanoparticles in the air, except in cases of accidental spilling or agitation leading to the dispersion of fine droplets. If the synthesis phase is followed by drying to obtain a dry powder, a leak in the evaporation chamber can lead to a dispersion of nanoparticles in the air.
