This module clarifies frankly and highlights our limits on two essential points:

• the detection and the monitoring of the manufactured nanoparticles,
• the difficult choice of the relevant units of measure from the point of view of “dose-effect” relation.

Collective and individual protections recommended to guarantee the protection of the Health and the Environment are finally specified.
