"Daily Life" applications

The nanotechnologically manufactured light-emitting diodes, significantly increase energy efficiency [W. Yang et al, Scientific reports 5 (2015) 10460].

"Daily Life" applications affect a wide variety of domains: leisure (sports equipment, flat screens, etc.), home automation (self-cleaning glass, thermal insulation, etc.), textiles, packaging. The para medical field offers more than a hundred cosmetic products and sunscreening creams containing nanoparticles [M.A. Vance et al., Beilstein Journal of Nanotechnology 6 (2015) 1769-1780].
